April is Parkinson's Awareness Month
Tell us about your Parkinson’s experience and help us keep Parkinson’s top of mind this April and beyond!

We’d love to hear your story so we can raise awareness and reduce the stigma that surrounds everyone affected by Parkinson’s. What are your experiences, your challenges, and your joys? What has been meaningful to you on your journey? Let us hear from you and, by all means, include pictures with your story. The resilience of this community is astounding, and we’d like to share these inspiring stories on social media in an ongoing campaign to spotlight the Parkinson’s experience in our community.

It's Tulip Time at PWP
The tulip has long been known as the “Parkinson’s flower,” so, in another way to honour Parkinson’s Awareness Month, we’ve decked out the walls of the centre with tulip related art done by…all of you!

Stop by and take in the beauty of the season and the talent of our community.

Speaking of Stopping By...
There's been plenty going on at PWP over the pandemic. Did you know we've taken over the entire second floor? Have you seen the new gym space? Are you curious about what goes on at PWP, but you're not sure if you're ready to join the classes? Are you considering a donation but want to know more about where your funds are going? Or are you just excited to meet the PWP team? Whatever the reason, why don't you stop by? Give us a call at 250-360-6800. We'd love to show you around.
New Classes and New Location
We’ve added a Strength and Balance class at the PWP centre on Monday mornings! This new class, led by our favourite yoga teacher, Janice, is a standing class for pink and yellow levels - a great way to start your day!

For those of you who live in the Sidney/Saanich area, we have wonderful news: PWPFit! classes have started at the McTavish Academy (1720 McTavish Road in North Saanich) on Wednesdays! You may have seen Amanda on Zoom over the past couple of years, and now she is back in person to teach this all-levels class.

Give us a call at 250-360-6800 to register or for more information.
